( I've sent this info on, and am waiting to see if they send me some specific model info back. I have quite a few good resource books that I can dig specs out of, if they will get me some info on the MM and the IH..

IH came out with their 2-point Fast hitch system in the mid/ late 50s or there abouts. These are operated by an external hyd cylinder, like my IHC 300 - which did not have an easy way to put a top link on. It has down pressure. After a year, IHC made provisions to easily convert this 2-point setup into a 3pt system, with a spot for the top link. I don't know if you would call this a 'real' 3pt system???? IHC used the Fast Hitch for quite a few years. It slowly evolved to look more like a 3pt, and at some point lost down pressure & became a 3pt....
I wonder if the others you have come across are conversions? Nearly any old tractor without a 3pt can have one added for about $600-1000. These use 1 or 2 remote hyd cylinders, and thus have down pressure.
Even an Eagle Hitch is not, truely, a 3pt system, as that upper arm is not in the same arc and so forth.....
I am not at all familiar with MM stuff, so do not know about that.
So, it depends how you want to classify 'original equipment'. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
