New Holland TC30
Hey All,
New to the forums but have perused them at length to glean info. So far I've learned a bunch from the site and appreciate it. While not new to tractors it's been awhile since operating one and this is my first foray into ownership. About 2 months ago I purchased an NH TC30, 2006 model. It had low hours and was in fairly good shape, just seemed to have had not much personal attention. Things that a good owner would tend to immediately were left alone. Had an issue with the leveling arm on the TPH, that with help from site forums was able to resolve and now the box blade is much more usable. Purchased an operators manual and am becoming more familiar with the systems.

The problem I wish to address now is the TPH, it seems to pulsate when being raised or lowered. It's not really bad but makes it a little aggravating when trying to even out areas with the box blade. Came across what I guess would be a similar issue others were having and there were some fixes. Some referred to it as "hiccup", but after reading other sites the description doesn't quite fit. Of course, the other sites didn't ring true with me, which is why I joined here. I don't have the free coin right now to purchase service manuals, and searches have failed to provide me with the proper procedure to repair this situation on this tractor. So, any help with my dilemma would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hey RDrancher,
Thanks for the reply. No it doesn't pulsate when up and when up, stays in position after shutdown. The jerky movement is during the transition period. Many of the markings on the tractor have worn off thru the years. Tried screwing in and out the speed adjustment below the seat. It appears to alter transition speed as it should, but has no effect on the pulsing. I must admit it has improved somewhat with use but is still noticeable. Haven't read the thread you sent as I wanted to reply. Will do so now.

Thanks,
Chuck
