Oh and let me add 1 more thing. Probably the most important point. Not unlike most of us, (me included) you are on a budget. So here is my suggestion. Go for the biggest 4wd that you can afford. In other words, if you have to choose between a TC24 4wd and a TC30 2wd, I would definately recommend the TC24. I have never driven either tractor, but my guess is that OVERALL, the 24 would be much more versatile and you could get alot more done with it than the 2wd TC30. Just my opinion. The big issue I see is that a tc24 is going to be stuck with 1' 'less' of implements than a tc30.. I.e. A tc 24 and a 4' mower vs a tc 30 and a 5' mower... there comes that time issue again...

Uses and geographical area are going to be prime issues in the 4wd / 2wd areena. Being from a state where you can see straight across coast to coast with a good cheap telescope, 2wd sells and performs good.. If loader work is involved.. I'll have to agree.. 4wd.. and possibly hydro.. if mowing... I might go with the higher hp machine...
