Hello. I was wondering if anybody might know how to diagnose a noisy clutch. When I engage the clutch it starts to make a ridiculously load noise. I was hoping that there might be a simple adjustment to it from the outside of the housing, instead of having to split the tractor in half. any thoughts would be appreciated. Sunny and 75 in Phoenix today.

You had to rub it in with the nice temps! Sorry but you will have to have it split. Nothing to do with your temps!

If it's noisy in neutral, maybe it is a TO bearing, though they are often noisy when the clutch is depressed. If it's only noisy in gear, maybe you have a different problem. Split either way, but get someone who might know the difference to listen ahead of time so you know what you're up against. Good luck with it, and keep us posted.

Thank you very much for the info, I figured someone in a colder part of the country might see the temps in Phoenix. We only get to brag until May and then we pay for it till Oct. Thanks again,
