TC26 Questions

I am downsizing from a Kubota L3830 and have the TC26 in the running along with others. I will get a FEL,BH, MMM, BB, RB, Tiller & front Snow Blower for work on my 3.2 acre place which has most of the "big" work done.

My local dealers don't stock many CUT's.

How wide is the rear end of a TC26 with R4's or Turfs?
Is there enough tire/fender clearance to put chains on it?
My dealer said that if I get a BH I will have to remove the subframe to mount the MMM - is this a fact? & how much of a pain is that?

I really like the TC26, but I have traded up (from a lawn tractor)not down. I have R4's on mine, and I think I might have just enough room for chains. I also have the front snow blower, but I just got it this summer, so no first hand experience yet. If the chains are too tight as is, the tires can be turned around for a little more clearance. Don't know about the back hoe, it was not in my budget. good luck.

Thx. I have req'd a quote and not heard back yet. What should I expect for the base unit with FEL?

I keep hearing prices vary widely in different parts of the country, but in NE I think just the tractor and FEL was around 17,500

I know a Case DX26 with HST (cousin to the TC26) is about $14k in the PNW. You might want to check with a Case dealership, as they are very similar tractors (both made for CNH). The Case dealer told me they were going to stop carrying anything below 33HP made by Case and replace them with Cub Cadets, so you might be able to get a deal.

One option for me is shipping it up. Do you know of a good NH/Case dealer in the Portland and/or Seattle area? Our local Case guy doesn't really deal with non-construction equip. and when I bought my Kubota he quoted a price that was more than $8K above what I paid in Seattle. (We have a new and more active Kubota dealer now).
