I am considering the above mentioned tractors. I will be doing mostly finish mowing, and some tilling. I notice that the orange is much lighter. Is this an advantage, and why? I am guessing that the lighter tractor will not tear up the turf as much, but will it still handle a tiller?

THanks.

Of course, the B2710 will handle a tiller. I'm still using the 40" tiller I had for my B7100, but only because I can't afford to trade up to a 60" tiller right now, which the tractor would handle just fine.

I use a 48 inch tiller on my TC21D and it handles it with no problem.

I am pleased with the weight of the 2710. HP is matched great with it. have never driven the boomer, but it sure looks great. stopped today and looked at em all. darn nice looking machines. sure is nice and at the same time confusing to choose between such a wide variety of excellent compact tractors. sure liked the simplistic little tool box's the boomers had. still can't find a spot on the 2710 to put one, to my satisfaction. the little box under the seat is minimal for capacity. minor point in choosing I guess.

Larry,

I think the NH gives you more for your money when it comes to standard equipt. If you plan on using a loader in the future the extra weight will serve you better also. If not the 2710 may be a better choice. You won't go wrong either way. I would also say the machine which is most comfortable to you is important..
