Just drove the 21D. Dealer quoted

Tractor + FEL w/ R4 tires (filled with CaCl) $14,900
60" Landpride Rear Finish Mower Model 1560 $1068

How's the price?
Also He recommended the rear finish mower vs. the MMM. I'm not sure I'm sold on it, but it did save $1,000. I may ask if I can try one out with some kind of money back towards a MMM deal.

Hey Hazmat,
I payed 15,500 including tax for my 2001 TC21D with FEL 60"MMM and 48" KK brush cutter and all fluids and filters for the first swap along with pick up and delivery for any service during the warentee period. I think i did pretty well for upstate NY fingerlakes area. Its been a great machine eccept for a leaky seal that turnes out to be a cracked wheel mount on the front end that they fixed and held up to all agreed on.

Thanks for the info. Where in the fingerlakes to you live? I went to school at Cornell. How long does it take to remove your MMM? The dealer recommended a RMM because it was easier to hitch up. Is it easy to take off the FEL? It appears to require a wrench. I haven't made a decision which tractor to buy yet (between the 21D and Deere 4100) nor do I have the Bosses approval. I liked both dealers. I thought that the 21D had better visability.

Hi Hazmat, I originally got a price of $16,200 for a TC21D with FEL,MMM, and R4. This is in Pa. I ended up getting a used one with all the above for $13,700. It had 92 hrs on it. I chose to go with the MMM for the ease of mowing in my yard. If you have a lot of trees, and other things to mow around the MMM will work much better. I also have taken my MMM off recently. It worked pretty easy with the FEL to lift the front of the tractor off the ground. You have four pins to pull, and the PTO shaft to remove. Came out very well. I have not put it back on yet so I can't help you there. I think the key is to have to FEL on when you want to put the MMM on and off the tractor. Good Luck with your search. I went to school at Canandaguia. Its about 25 miles east of Rochester. I live is Shortsville now. Its takes only 10 minutes or less to remove the MMM. Its very easy to remove the loader too. I have a 3pnt brush cutter and its alot easier to remove the MMM than it is to put that on the 3 pnt hitch...ALOT . The loader does require a wrench. I thinks it 13/16 but dont quote me....its cake to do though. I love the tractor so far. Lots of power and mows great too.
