I don't have a TC but I am thinking of getting one to run an implement that uses between 15 and 24 GPM. The TC I am looking at has high flow which allows for 28 GPM. I understand that I could hook up the implement to use only standard aux flow. However, that wastes a lot of hydro capacity. Can the output of the high flow circuit be adjusted so that it only puts out 24GPM (through some sort of relief valve or adjustment) or am I concerned about nothing and this automatically adjusts itself?

To get your 24 gpm while using hi-flow, just throttle back the engine slightly by 10-15%. This will decrease the gpm flow and still allow good power/torque from the engine. You could also install a flow control in the attachment hydraulics, but this is probably more cost/labor than needed.

Thanks, that makes sense.
