Not unless you are using it a lot. I never have a problem that causes me to have to change mine prematurely. Manual calls for draining every 100 hours and changing every 200 hundred hours. You may have sediment or algae in the fuel tank.

I take it you are getting fuel from a bulk tank?

You either have a problem in your tank or from your source. I change my filter each spring with more hours on it than they recommend, but I do my best to use the best fuel I can find and screen it when I fuel up.

I do get it from bulk tank. Is there any way to drain tank and get all non fuel substances out.

I worked at a ATV dealer and a few people had dirty fuel problems. They were the farmers using fuel from bulk tanks. Though difficult, we convinced the farmers it would be cheaper to have clean fuel in 5 gallon cans for the UTV's, ATV's, garden tractors, and motorcycles instead of paying for all the fuel problems.

Here is a article about diesel tank maintenance.
Farmers cautioned to clean on-farm fuel storage tanks regularly

Do you have an inline filter where the hose connects to the tank? If not you need one. You can get filters that trap water and sediment.
