I have 2006 TC-40 that has had chronic power loss issues, changed fuel filter worked great for awhile, started doing it again, changed fuel filter, still low power. took fuel tank out and cleaned thoroughly put back in and still same problem. Called dealership in Tucson and they said low power probably fuel injection pump and it should be smoking. Not smoking abnormally, but still low power. any ideas Please.....

Are you bleeding injectors (just in case) after changing the filter? Air in the lines can compromise a full shot when running. If this happens with one cyl vs all you'd run rough. If all are affected, o'all power is reduced but you'd run more smoothly. With some systems having shared injector 'return lines' all can be bled from one point. (DAMHIKT)

If your fuel tank/cap is vented be sure that's not plugged. Another thing to cross of your list is condition of the air cleaner. Also, check any hydro QDs to be sure they're seated properly. Dead-heading a hydro pump can rob power, tho' isn't always noticeable unless FEL or other accy runs weak, too. Not saying I have the fix, just covering some bases.
