TC 33DA - Fuse, Alternator, or Battery Problem?

/ TC 33DA - Fuse, Alternator, or Battery Problem? #11
Right, just ran a wire that I had left over from another project between the two parts, the firewall(metal) to the frame(metal). I used the left side of the tractor, not as many parts in the way. Even as cold has it has been, the tractor now starts without any problems.
If anyone finds out what is causing a grounding problem, it would be nice to find out what changes between the tractor being new and ageing a few years.

No doubt all electrical problems ; whether voltage or grounding is due to corrosion and oxidation of metal throughout the equipment; from copper wire, to rust between parts, etc. I really would love to see CNH use dielectric grease on all electrical connections; sure would help.

I have the TC33DA, and I am having the same problem. Some times it starts and other times it takes several tries. I will try the ground wire.

Thanks, Paul
