TC 33D hydro problem alert

Hi all
I'm not sure if this has been posted before but here is a problem to be watching for on the tc 33d.

The two hoses that go to the tranny cooler seem to split open around 400 hours. My neighbours blew out at 400 hrs and mine went at 445 hrs. They are easily replaced but get your dealer to order some in advance. Appearently the new replacements are tougher and will last longer.

It's not just the 33D, it's all Class II Boomers and it can happen a lot sooner than 400 hours. I replaced mine at 181.3 hours after I opened the hood while the engine was running and saw the hoses were the size of small hernias!

Thank goodness the Class I boomers have a different hose /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Although, the clamps do require a little tightening every now and then on the Class I

And mine broke at 5 hours. Way to go New Holland! Hasn't done anything in years to fix the problem.

The current replacements are not tougher and may not last any longer.

Yep! Mine broke at 5 hours and then had to replace one of them again at 65 hours due to cracks. New Holland, fix the problem!

Yes.

Checked mine and they look OK. I tighten down on the clamps a little. Takes an 8MM wrench.

Just to be sure...You checked them with the engine running, right?
