TC 24D with hole in the oil pan

LAGEORGE . . . I have read on other sites, that this site edits the content of messages after they are posted. I never saw that before today. I will say that I have seen on other sites refusal to post links or even references to other websites. Maybe the editing is a liability thing?

There is no brand bashing allowed on this site. I am not a mod so I do not have the power to edit but my post was deleted and I have no problems with it. It is one thing to say a particular tractor you own is junk because you own it. But if you come on here and imply an entire brand is junk then you deserve to have your post removed. That is what happened and I thank the mods for their fast work.

Just a question. Is the pan steel or cast?

It is a steel oil pan and in the first picture you can see there is very little space between the drive shaft and the pan.

I guess that had never looked at the bottom of the boomer's engine close enough to see that pan was metal and not cast.
