TBN equivalent for fishing equipment?

Getting back into fishing after 20 years and feel like Rip Van Winkle. I need to buy a jon boat, small outboard motor, accessories and have a lot of questions. (Like why do Hondas cost 40% more than Yamahas?) Anyone know of a good message board for small boats?
