Like MossRoad, I have two 20# bottles for the grill, and like hawkey08, I turn off the gas at the bottle when I finish cooking, so they last a long time. And since I live less than a mile from the Destiny RV Park, I get my bottles filled there. However, it's been so long since I had to buy any, I don't even know what the cost is now.

Just wondering, but dont they make them things where you can fill out of your large home tank?? Has anyone used them???

I have no experience. I like charcoal. Mostly for the taste and easier ability to get some dead apple or cherry (I have both on my property) and do some smokin:licking:

But I do have a 500 gallon home tank. If I did use Propane for BBQ, I'd look into using out of it somehow. Bulk tank delivery @ ~1.50/gallon is got to be cheaper than any small tank fill up.

We finally replaced our 20+ year old lava rock grill this summer, after many burner and rack replacements over the years, with a propane fired Infrared Grill.
We have been grilling since the 1960's and must say that the infrared method is the best :thumbsup:
You can use wood chips for flavoring with it, as well.

I've spent many a dollar there. Second best place for me to shop just a tad behind Harbour Freight. :thumbsup: I've been buying propane there for years. Thanks for reminding others about it.
