Kubota L2250
I have a 1988 Kubota L2250F (2 wheel drive, 1100 hrs). Recently I noticed a little bit of transmission/hydraulic oil dripping from what, I found out today, is called the tattle tale plug. I am curious if anyone has had experience. The service guy at the Kubota dealership closest to me said it meant something was wrong inside the transmission case but gave no more advice than that. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Can you tell if it's hyd oil or motor oil?

Engine rear main seal or transmission seal is leaking. Fixing either requires splitting the tractor. If it's black it's engine, somewhat clearish it's tranny.

You can ignore it & hope it doesn't get to bad or contaminate the clutch or split & replace the seal. It could be worn bearings leading worn seals, or just worn seals.
