Hello to all from American Samoa, I am Frank Mccoy and I have been following and enjoying the forums many interests and personalities. I recently purchased a 2516 mahindra from Buck at EFC and should be arriving here next week.(very good people to deal with.) I plan on using it around the property for gardening and landscaping etc. Have learned a lot from all the interesting materials on the forums. Hope to hang around awhile and enjoy the company.

thanks for the welcome, gents. i will post some pictures soon, still learning to navigate the forum. i am hoping to have the new mahindra 2516 hst at the place by next wednesday ,(if the boat don t sink ha ha) can t wait. as may already know the island was devastated with huge earthquake and tsunami late sept. we are recovering from that slowly. thanks to the many people that offered assistance. our family plan is to try to self sufficient in vegetables and staples. shipping is very costly coming this way.the tractor will help move things around. i got a fel and a bb with it. soil is good but shallow, will have to truck in lots dirt so we can till and turn it over. mostly lava rock with about 6 to 8 inches on top. btw this will be my first tractor and i hope i didn t buy too small. American Samoa, capital Pago Pago is a US territory 2500 miles south west of Hawaii.
