Talked to dealer about 2X20 cabs

I was talking to the dealer the other day and he said the demand for a John Deere Factory cab for the 2X20 tractors is really high.
He was saying he thinks we'll see a a factory cab for these tractors pretty soon.
He also said the rep was saying that JD wanted to see if they where going to stick with this body style before making a cab for them. Now that they released the 2720, We should see a cab in the near future.

I sure hope he's right. I would love a cab for my 2520.

The only problem is, it wont help you because you already
have the tractor. if thay come out with a cab model 2520.
the cab wont fit your tractor. you have to buy a new 2520 with cab.
just like the 3000 seris tractors. the cab tractor and the open station
tractor. are 2 completely different tractors.

Dangit I didn't know that.
I figured it was a conversion kit.
Guess it's after market cab for me then.

I recently spent a couple of days in a Kubota L2900 tractor with cab helping cut/rake hay. (No A/C)
Even with the windows open and doors removed it was very hot.
With our climate, I wouldn't want a cab without A/C.

I really would not want a cab unless. i lived where its really
cold all the time. witch here its not . its 90 degrees.
and i really like being outside. and not in a cube.
i know it sounds crazy....

maybe when i get like some of you old guys.
i will want to be in the glass cube......

Hmmmmmmm..........................old guys have cabs. I guess now I know why I have a cab. Here I thought it was just because I got a little smarter over the years and finally wanted to quit eating all that dust,but in actuality I have just gotten old. Now if I saw a younger man with a cab tractor I would say " Now there is a smart young man"

yeah and those daredevil bugs that fly right into your mouth (while downing a beer). But I guess you can just duck while you ar mowing your lawn at 10 mph in an OS unit.
