Just purchased 3 2.5 gallon jugs of 15-40 Rotella T6 (I have to change the oil in my M9's, it's season end, something I do every year plus Kubota OEM filters. Anyway, 3 2.5 gallon jugs of oil came to almost $195 bucks and the filters from my dealer were 20 bucks each. Woozer.

Saving dough during inflation? Throwing money away. Invest that dough. Buy land. Even if you take a short term hit, land will always bounce back strong.

Still losing money. The 'official' rate is currently 3.7%. That excludes food and energy. The real inflation rate is much higher and about to bounce up again.

at least it's available now, prices? get used to it. you mentioned 15/40 T6? thought it was 5/40.... if it was 5/40 T6, then the cost was about right. if it was blend T5 15/40, then you were overcharged, best regards

I bought four 5/16 x2 bolts this morning for something like .88. The clerk asked if I wanted the receipt. I said, "sure, I want to be able to see that I was able to buy four bolts for .88 ten years from now when they are $88.00."

No, 15-40 T6, what I always use. Normally, I have quite a bit on hand but not this time. They do make a 5-40 but I don't use that and I add Nano-Borate to the oil as well. Big tractors = big sumps.

I prefer NOT to buy anything from Amazon if I can avoid it.

T4 is the semi synthetic. T5 isn't.

I have a lot of owned land, 140 acres here and an additional 53 up north. All free and clear too (except for taxes that is). That and 3 rental homes, 2 of which are paid for (except for taxes again).
