I just keep telling her 1 more.

A few years ago I sold a Farmall H, for too much money. I regretted it ever since. After the last one I bought she asked which one I was going to sell, I replied, "I already sold one, I won't make that mistake again". She hasn't even brought it up since.

The JD 3020 was a good deal if all is working. If the weights are OEM JD, they alone are worth a portion of what you paid. But I don't see the framerail weight bolsters or the flat front weights. I grew up on a JD 3010 diesel. Jungle shift isn't too bad until the syncro's start failing. Then its grind baby grind! Yours could be a 3010. SN will tell. Maybe someone put a 3020 engine kit in it...

The Fords... Solid, reliable, crude. I have used 8N's, 841, 2000, 3000, 4000, and 6600. All diesel except the 2000 and it had NO MUFFLER!

Leave the larger tractor for the baler and wagon and let the ford run the mower and tow wagons. The gas engine of the ford with less horsepower would be my choice as the utility tractor and harder work for the deere.
