I'm guessing a BH277 is a 7' shredder / rotary mower. If so the your 4145 should handle it fine. The usual minimum rule is 5 PTO HP required per foot so a 7' mower requires at least 35 PTO HP.

I couldn't find any specs on the Bush Hog 277, but if it is a 7', I wouldn't use it on that tractor without more information. A 7' single spindle has a lot of inertia and take a lot to get going and stick pretty far out the back, check your owners manual on the tractor and cutter.

This thing is a hoss. 8 hours on it this far. Bush hogging big stuff and some bucket and grading work. Impressed.
