We can sell either color but the Green McHale 991B has features the Vermeer does not have and the McHale is cheaper for the customer. You have the choice of any color plastic you want but white is needed in the USA.

The plastic has a longer usable life in the sun light.

CCI is exactly right. Black will abosrb all of the light and will lead to failure much quicker than white which reflects all of the light. That's why if you live in AZ you don't want a dark colored car or house. It will be hotter than heck in the summer.
