hes got the one i think that came from aaron that we all got with our VN tractors, mine has the same thing in it.

It must have been one of the first "prototype" manuals. All of the manuals as far back as I can find have all said-

You are absolutely correct. There is certainly no shortage of misinformation out there. Some of the most inaccurate information that we received came straight from Japan.
Even many of the genuine Yanmar published service manuals & parts manuals are loaded with errors. It has taken a while to work through & fix a lot of that information. The current versions (as of around 2007) of the manuals should all be correct though.

Aaron, thanks for your response, I didn't get the manual from you, it came thru a VN dealer. I'm OK with it, this is the first item I've found wrong about it. I'm just happy to find out my true pto speed. Is that 550,784,1096 rpm all with 2400 engine rpm. Thanks again.
