LOL See that 25' X 52' concrete block building in the background? Dang that's full too! This is exactly why I will never - ever move from this place. Ya right - just haul 2500 board feet of hardwood lumber away. Gheesh I remember when my whole life fit in the back of a VW Squareback. Those were the days.

Looks good. What kind of floor you got in there? I have been thinking of building a polebarn on my land, but I want a concreate floor. I do a lot of work on my cars, and I build wood boats, so dirt will not do. I am thinking of about 30x40 for mine.

Dear Cowboydoc,
I have been planning this building for four years now. I live in a tiny 900 square foot house that I fixed up from junk. It has served me well as a bachelor, but as I get older I realize having a little female companionship might be nice. Can't get my girlfriend moved in unless I expand. As far as the Morton Company is concerned I paid a premium to go with them but their guarantee is exceptional. 100% on just about everything...
Over the past 5 years I have been producing furniture in my 850 square foot basement. One of the most unpleasant aspects of this workshop has been the darn concrete floor. As you know with a paraplegic the veins and arteries don't work right in the legs. When your legs get cold the surface vessels are supposed to shut down and circulate blood to the deeper vessels to maintain body temperature. Mine don't so after awhile I just start taking on the temperature of the environment. So I went extravagent on the heating. It will be nice to have warm heat coming up. If you are comfortable in your shop you tend to do better work and work longer. That's important as I plan to make this my income source in the years to come. Besides after living in Iowa 7 or 8 years I have learned to HATE being cold.
So yup I really blew it, but man it is gonna be nice...
