TA: mech or hydraulic shuttle

Hi Been looking at an Iseki TA357F. Just wondering if anybody could answer a couple ?s I have. First, is the shuttle on the column mechanical or hydraulic. Also this tractor appears to be quite close to a MF 1160 in size, age and specs. Would this be a possible crossover or would parts only be available for this machine from Japan. Thanks

I have a TA 207 and have had TA210,255,270 . They all were mechanical. You have to clutch to shift. It will " grind " if you don't have the RPM right when you shift after it has set with it out of gear for a while. You can shift transmission gears while moving, 1,2,3,and 4. As far as cross over it is too big for any info I have.

My TA247 is nearly identical to a Massey 1240. I have looked both over very carefully. " Nearly " Identical. Im guessing yours would be " Nearly " a 1250.
