T5060 hard to steer dealer at a loss

Help I have a NH T5060 steering is very hard both hands
New hydraulic pump and new fluid and filters ,new steering motor,new hoses from motor to steering cylinder
200 + psi when sitting turn wheel goes to just over 400psi
Hooked air to steering cylinder goes looks to lock fast and easy

Sorry I have no answers, just a couple more questions.

When you just used air, did you remove the hoses from both ports and try both ways?

You mention new hoses from motor to steering cylinder - what's the status of the hose from steering cylinder coming back (to the reservoir?)?

See if they checked the priority valve.

Based on your explanation, it appears that the pump isn’t going into stroke. There is something blocking the load sense signal to the pump. As Leejohn mentions, it could be the priority valve or something within the load sense circuit.

Do you have a schematic of the circuit you could share?

I should clarify my previous post. That statement is only valid if this tractor uses a variable displacement piston pump. If it uses a gear pump, then none of my previous post is applicable.

Any pictures of the pump and/or the steering unit would be helpful to determine what components you have on that tractor.
