I've been looking at tractors for a few years and the time has come where I need to purchase. I initially narrowed my search to Kubota and John Deere based on my personal experience, with some apprehension towards Kubota (I have a Bx that has left me with mixed opinions). Recently looked at a T4.115 and it seems like a good tractor. Curious if there is some experience out there with the T4 model line that can be shared? My primary use will be heavy shredding and land maintenance. If it makes a difference, I'll be purchasing a cab tractor.

Any preference over the power shuttle and creeper modes?

Thanks!

I have a T4.105 with a loader a little over 200 hours on it. Like the tractor, cab is great and starts good even in the cold. I use it for all around chore tractor; feeding cattle in winter, cutting hay, filling silo, ect. I put it on my round baler just to see how it handled it since I will use it as a backup there and handled it fine. Pulled a 20' krause disc with it, didn't go fast but got the job done. Some dislikes; I had a hard time getting used to the cab steps they are very vertical, but have acclimated to them over time. Radio speakers are not the greatest but get the job done. Changing oil and filters the first time was not the funnest experience; but after the first time will get easier as I know what to expect. The tier IV emissions stuff was a concern but it is very unintrusive. Once in a while it beeps and says it is regenerating and that is about it. Very happy with the fuel consumption, especially on the discbine. Power shuttle works excellent and easy to shift, now that I have got used to it, I just hit the button on the end of the shuttle stick and change gears and push forward or back on the shuttle. I have the higher speed road gear which is nice if you are doing a lot of road traveling. It seems to be a large leap in speed between gears 3 and 4, so doing some field operations it feels like you want to shift up when in 3rd gear but 4th gear seems too fast, but I am impatient. I would purchase the tractor again, and I plan on keeping this one for a long time. I do not have the creeper option, so can't help you there. Let me know if you have any specific questions I can try to answer.
