T273 or T293 float option on FEL ???

Hi. Could someone tell me if they have a TYM T273 or T293 with the 200 model loader iand joystick controller installed, if you're able to use the float option. In the manual, it mentions you push the joystick forward until you feel the detend but when I try this on mine, it doesn't work. I feel a very small click when pushing forward but it doesn't stay there and loader doesn't go in floating mode. I've tried to get help from my local dealer but they can't agree between themselves. The salesman says it should work and the service manager says I probably don't have this option.

My TYM made Montana 2734 has the float when pushed all the way forward. I use it a lot for grading

It should have float. It is a standard feature.

I've had my t273 for almost five years now. It was a standard option then as it is now. I remember the first time I used it it was a hard push the first time. But normal after that. Good luck !

That's what the sales guy told me that you needed to push hard but I can't imagine pushing harder than I tried. I already had some problem with the loader joystick a few weeks after I got my tractor. Something must've let go in the cables because I wasn't able to move the loader up or down. I have a feeling there's something wrong with the ajustment of it and this is why it doesn't want to go into float position. I'll get the service man to try it next time he's around to see if he's able to get it engaged. Rather have him break it than me.

Are you certain that that little lever lock is not engaged? It is the little metal lever at the base of the joystick pointing towards the front of the tractor.
