I have the Cabelas also and did my 50 last summer only to find out that there is a strainer screen which is located behind the hose connection. I have the backhoe which has full frame rails for support so I'm sure this is going to be a pain. Really not looking forward to wasting all those gallons of fluid again either.
150hrs. I decided to change all fluids again....for a few different reasons. Old attachment has icky hydro fuild in it. Service done on the front wheel knuckle assembly left fluids low. Lastly a weird noise.
Just wanted to mention the Donaldson P169078 filter I used for the hydrostatic transmission.
Also I cleaned the strainer this time. It was bigger than I thought it would be and had shaving on it that I removed with a magnet. After cleaning it and before reinserting it, I stuck the magnet in the transmission and fished for more shavings. Glad I did. There were a couple large slivers.
