T1560 lawn tractor

Any body have any comments good or bad.Looking at one. 99 model for
$1,500.00 good condition.

i have a 1995 T1560 w/kawasaki motor and has been trouble free all these years, that is until about a week ago when the hydrostatic tranny went out. I've done some research and found a new replacement for about $600. When it first went out I called the dealer and they wanted $1300 for new part and I was just going to buy an brand new T1880 on sale for $2999.99. But I am now going to break open the hydro and repair or just buy a new part for the $600. very tough mower, i've totally abused it over the years and have only needed to change oil, belts, blades and front wheel bearings.

Welcome to tbn.Thanks for the info.Engine id says Kubota but looks and
sounds like a Kawasaki.Going to buy it.Using it to mow about two acres.

Great little mowers, I have abused one of these & was unable to tear it up. You should be pleasantly surpise how well they mow.
