Synthetic or Dino

Ok, now I got the filter issue figured out its time to decide on what trans/hydro oil to use.

Now I live in Alberta,Canada so I plan on using my Ck30 hst for snow removal in winter as well as moving dirt,rocks,etc around my acreage this summer, so the way I have it figured I think synthetic fluid would be better for my purposes.

What is everyone else using?

I use Amsoil Hyd/Trans Syn in my Boomer.

I am using the same amsoil in my JD.. So far no issues

Kubota US also sells a synthetic, SUDT-2, but since Kubota Canada uses a different supplier, I don't know if a similar synthetic universal tractor fluid is offered or not.

I went to the Chevron bulk location that also has a retail outlet and got my hydraulic oil from there. Chevron 1000THF, comes in 5 gallon pails. :tractor:

I'm using mobile hydrual extra here in south western ontario canada.
The mobile tech said it would be good in this climate. I was going to use amsoil but i get my oil from work at a good deal if you know what i mean
