New Holland 1925
When I bought my land 20 years ago I knew I was going to need a tractor to help me manage it. While I'm not a heavy user, I do need it on occasion. I bought it used with several nice implements but it had 13.6 x 16 turf tires on it. While not ideal for my purposes, they have managed to last me 19+ years. I want to replace them with ag tires and have a question. Do they make ag tires in this size configuration or am I going to have to buy new wheels to fit the ag tires?

Hi 45er,

It's likely that you will be able to find tyres to suit your current rims because for any given rim width and diameter, there's often a selection of tyre widths that can be fitted. A tyre store should be able to give you advice on what sizes are available and suitable.

Good Evening 45er,
I would be pretty sure you can find what you want with an AG configuration! Lots of outlets, you could also try Miller Tires !

I believe that you will need new rims. The R1s take a narrower size. You may be able to find R4 industrial tires to fit on that platform instead, which aren't quite as aggressive tread but also would be easier on your lawn.

I thin you will have a hard tire finding R1 tires to fit you rims, I would expect that and 8.50 or a 9.00 would be the widest R1's you will find.
In the R14 style you may find something.

For your 16"rims off road pickup mud style tires may be your best bet.

R1s are a very different format than Turfs. Narrow and tall vs wide a nd low. I'm pretty sure you will need new wheels as well. I'd look around for a used set, perhaps. You might find a used set of wheels and tires.

But a question arises in my head - why do you want Ags? Perhaps R4s would be a better fit, depending on what you want to do...

It looks from your profile you have a New Holland 1925 if that is the case the tire sizes that were available are as follows,
R1 AG front 7-14
R1 AG rear 11.2-24

Turf front 25 X 8.50-14
Turf rear 13.6-16

R4 Industrial front 25 X 8.50-14
R4 Industrial rear 15 X 19.5

You might be able to use your front wheels but you would need different rear ones. Remember that it is important to use the specified sizes by the manufacturer to keep the proper ratio when using 4 wheel drive.
