Swisher zero turn power loss

Have a swisher zt2760. It's a zero turn mower with a couple hundred hours on it. It's been a good mower but recently it will loose power for moving to the point of stopping. The control handled will be fully forward and it will come to a stop. I have to reset the handles back to neutral and sometimes I have to move back and forth from forward to reverse before it will engage again and move.

Could it be the drive belt slipping and therefore not providing the pumps power? I loose power in both wheels equally. Since they are independent pumps that would seem to make the most sense.
