Swisher Predator Brush Cutter

I ordered a Swisher Brush cutter today on Amazon...cost $1199 w/free shipping & no tax. I was wondering if any of you have one and if you like it. I know about the DR brush cutters, but having just ordered a JD2305, I simply cannot afford more than the Swisher right now. It comes with the 11.5 hp B&S I/C engine. Anyway, in shopping around, it appeared that Amazon was a good deal cheaper than any other outlet. Anyone have some input on this product? Thanks.

OK so i guess you have had your brush mower out and mowing. So We (I) would like to know how you like the Swisher model.

I was looking at the same one, until a used DR 17 hp came up for sale on Craigs list.

Would it have been cheaper to buy a three point rotary mower for the 2305?
A new King Kutter 4 foot mower would cost around $850 and you don't have to fool around with a separate engine.

Used it several times this summer...cuts well in deep vegetation. Be fit when using it as it keeps going when you're ready to stop. I give it a thumbs up...leaves a good looking swath...
