Swinger Titan 160-b
This is a first time post for me on this forum. Thanks for bearing up with my description.

I have a Titan 160-B Swinger that has been running just great. But this last winter when scooping out the horse manure, the whole hydraulic system stopped working. The Perkins diesel engine continued to operate just fine. Finally tore the pump off this summer and discovered that the splines on the pump shaft that fits into the engine flywheel were stripped off. Not sure how that happened. But..

I am wondering where to purchase another hydraulic pump shaft. Or worst case to have to buy the whole pump.

Any ideas from owners, mehcanics or parts dealers. Thanks

Try just replacing the spline coupling in the flywheel. They are made of softer metal than the pump shaft.. On re-assembly, re-alignment is important. The Swinger 100 I have with a Kubota uses a flex plate coupling. Another I have with a ford 2000cc uses a double roller chain coupling but needs replacement every 5 years.

Any model code or part numbers on the pump? If yes what are they? Maybe possible to get just the shaft.

If the splines are in a non-lubricated environment they can wear called fretting. Applying a good moly based grease during assembly can help reduce this.
