Suspension seat for JD 4110

Anyone tried to put one of the universal replacement seats with suspension mechanism on a 4110? I had one on a little Case IH 234 that resulted in a much better ride. Here's a link to one of the seats at Northern Tool, although there are a number of suppliers of similar seats, including TSC.

I don't know why you couldn't use a X series seat like I did on my 2210. It was an easy swap.

I went by the dealer today and checked out the X-series seats. I'd like to be sure were talking about the same seat because the one I looked at didn't look a lot better. My kidneys are eagerly awaiting your reply...or healing for the next mowing!

here is a link to a discussion of what it takes to put on an X seat on a 2210. I have had it on my tractor for almost a year and love it . It does have a suspension and you can adjust it to your weight. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif This is the special edition seat not the standard. From what I have seen this seat could be used for most of the smaller JD tractors with little to no problem.Its not a cheap seat just to let you know.
