Mowing Suspended Mower?

I have a Kubota B5100 with a MMM and Tiller. The mower is suspended underneath with little chains. I want to be able to leave the mower on while using my Tiller. I have had several ideas on how to go about suspended the mower so that it won't raise and lower with the Tiller. I was wondering if anyone else has done this, and what they did.

On my BX2200 there is a "top"position on the mower cutting level knob. The top allows the mower to stay suspended in the transport height so that the 3ph attachments can be used while the mower is left connected to the tractor. Like I said this info for the 2200 and may not apply to you tractor.

unfortunately that doesn't help me,but apparently there is a difference between the hydrostatic and manual. My machine is a manual.

Not familar with your machine but you may want to try blocking the MMM up first and then make sure the lift arms will lower. If they do then proceed to find a place to attach some short chains to the frame of tractor and to frame of deck. Once the place is located cut the chain to custom length and make use of some quick attach pins. May take a little creativity some just make sure your attaching points are strong to hold the weight and any bouncing.

My buddy has a B6200 and he wondered the same thing. We got to looking around and found pins that he could pin the MMM all the way to the top so he could use his rear blade.
