That's awesome. Samurais are so underrated.

Mine has a 16v 1.6L MFI Geo Tracker motor, YJ springs, 5:1 Petroworks t-case, F/R lockers, tubed front clip, and Geo Metro seats. For a cracker box, the Metro has surprisingly nice seats.

Some of the folks in those rigs really ought to think about their seatbelt status.

It's an 1988.5 model year.

Everyone mocks me for specifying the .5, but it was pretty significant. Half way through 1988, the Sami got:

Dash restyle
Softer leaf springs
Lower 5th gear
Bold new graphics

I have an 06 rhino which cost me close to 9 grand.

I purchased the sammy for $1800, put a $200 dollar locker in it.
It out performs the rhino in every aspect. The mpg is even better..
Now the Samurai is my main offroad vehicle.
They are impressive little vehicles.
