Summer is over

Well, there's a frost that looks like it snowed last night. (Just before 7AM here) Thermometer shows 31*. I let the dogs out and they were back at the door barking to get in within a couple minutes.

Up 'till the last couple days, we've had a typical autumn here. 60's at night, upper 70's through the day, an occasional all day rain, and a few small thunderstorms.

Yesterday the rug got yanked out from under us!

Weather guessers are calling for a return to more seasonable weather next week. This is early December weather we're having right now.

From this point, the biggest thing the tractors will do is to haul firewood to the house and shop every few days. Time to play INDOORS.

Frost should look good tomorrow morning. They are promising us temps in the 20's. Hope you get warm weather. We are headed south next week.

Beuatiful Fall up here in MA. Going to get a little cooler at night this weekend but the highs are still 58 or so. I think we'll finish out the month pretty comfortably before winter starts pushing in on us. November can be full blown winter but typically we get some nice days.

My Mom grew up in Glace Bay. Been there many times and drove the Cabot trail once. I'll never forget it even though I was only 7 or 8 years old. I always loved our trips up there.

The wife and I both stepped out this morning at 7 AM to walk our daily 2 miles. When we got back to the house we turned the heat on. Man it was cold out there.
