Stupid Question

I feel foolish asking this question but here goes; I have a new Mahindra 5530. On the instrument cluster, under the rabbit, is a small window showing some kind of fluctuating meter. I have been through the operating manual and I can find no mention of it. Can someone help?

Perhaps it is an Hourmeter functioning indicator.. Don't have a mahindra, but a lot of hour meters have them??Plus if you leave the key on and engine off, the meter will still be adding hours on them?

It's just a small window with a white background or a black background and it shifts irratically between the two

I know exactly what your describing, its part of the hour meter. Kinda like a second hand. Operationaly ignore it. Hope that helps.
