Yes that is an old farmall not exactly sure what model but it has a belly blade which is kinda neat. The plan for it is a parade type tractor. Its been in our family for quite a while, was my dads uncles tractor then we went in halfs and bought it when he passed awy.. Kinda of a project that neither of us has time to do.. We did get parts to rebuild the engine and a new hood but thats as far as its gotten in 5years....

That is a pretty neat attatchment. Now you got me thinking.
Is there any lateral movement or do you just reposition the tractor?

Well depending on the size of the stump you do not have to move the tractor. The wheel moves back and forth from the operator. If the stump is to big you do have to re-postion. So far have done a couple of stumps and have been some-what pleased. Iam like Tim I'd like more power bigger wheel etc. But with this model I believe it is rated fo a 20hp to 60 or 90hp. something like that..

Nice setup! I could find a few uses for something like that...

But, how about a better picture of the Farmall? /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Robert,
If I didn't know any better I would say there another tractor on the other side of the Farmall.
Looks to be a John Deere of some kind or maybe a Case.

Yep.. sure like to see a better picture to see if it is Farmall A or a Super A.

John, Do you have serial number on the Farmall and maybe a model?

Thomas,
Oh man! You got me! I see the Farmall, and the most likely Deere with the stumper on it.

What else are you seeing in there? I won't be able to stop looking at that picture till I know /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif Is it just that since I got that Farmall, all I see is RED /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Well hey fellas its a farmall alright just I forget if its an a or what. I will get the serial Numbers and post tommorow.. Its a project tractor but at one time all I had..

She sure has the look of an "A"; wide front, and short left axle housing. There's tons of info for these on ytmag.com and atis.net

I have a '41. It's painted up, but needs some detailing. I posted it here a while back. I am rebuilding the carb right now; the floats were full of gas.

I'm looking forward to some parades this summer! /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Robert,
She a beauty. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif
I didn't notice your battery box. /w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif
Not to pick..but the muffler driving me /w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gif

Kinda hard to believe in a way,Farmall made the A for nine years an a total 220,328 units and it seems like everyone from coast to coast has one. /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif

If I ever get my scanner hitch up I'll snap a picture of my father A and send it to you....also maybe he will let take A for a spin. /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif/w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

Have you given your A name yet?

Take care out there and enjoy.

John,
Try turning your mag one way or another until you get a spark, than if she should start rough than just fine turn the mag.
Also check to make sure you don't have a wire thats grounding you out.
