Okay guys I'm embarassed to have to ask this one. I bought an old KBA that has been sitting for many years. The wheels turn smoothly and I can get the lug nuts loose but zero luck on either side getting the outer wheel bearing cover (I think) off. I'm just short of heating with a torch but don't want to fry the thing if this is just one more example of my ignorance. Thanks in advance. Steved

It's just pressed on, should be able to take a blunt nose chisel and work around the cap to get it to start moving.

An alignment tool with a hook on one end is what I use. Hammer it in the groove and you have enough leverage to twist it as you hammer. Then turn wheel and do another spot. It will eventually come loose. Then a big pair of channel locks and finish pulling or twisting it out.

Thanks Gentlemen,
Very helpful. I had the right idea but was being too gentle. I now have the go ahead to apply the appropriate amount of force to the situation:D

Understandable. :) always easier to ask than to damage a part. I have a 7.5 foot KBA and really like it. Good luck with yours.
