My B2710 with 260 hours runs great. Never had any issues other than those created by me; however, I am now unable to put it into 2wd. When I push the lever forward to 2wd, it will pop back up into 4x4 as soon as I start moving. Any suggestions as to a fix for this?

gino45: If your last direction in 4WD was forward; reverse the direction of the tractor a few feet first, then select 2WD. That works for me. I think your tractor has too few of total hours to be an adjustment problem.

My goes out of 4wd much easier if I pick the front tires off the ground with the loader.

Hey, that's pretty funny, RD!
After playing with the shifter and using reverse I did get it in what I believe is 2 wheel drive. And I learned a thing or 2 about removing the loader by trying that for the first time ever. A bit of a comedy of errors! Next time I will locate in a solid level spot for loader removal--and have some spare cotter pins.
