On the rare occasion that you guys might stick an electrode so tight you can't pull it loose, and you're using a twist clamp type electrode holder. What's the fastest method to get it out of the holder? I need to know in case this ever happens to me. :ashamed::ashamed::ashamed:

I just twist the handle, and release the rod from the stinger.

Thanks guys. I bought an alligator styled one today................in case I ever get a rod stuck.

In case you get a rod stuck?:laughing: It is called stick welding you know..:) Your going to stick some rods. I sure have.

I" hear"that after a few seconds they begin to get darker in color and go soft all over.
We really need a tongue in cheek emoticon for when I lie like this.:laughing::laughing:

I will admit, I occasionally start a rod without it sticking a few times before I get it going
