One of my 3 stucco walls failed moisture probe tests on 6 of 8 windows on my east wall on March-22. Weather was good for testing. Walls were dry. Weather was fair.

Anything above 20% is “red/danger” zone. 15%-19% is yellow “caution”. Under 15% is green “satisfactory”

West wall tested fine all green 10-15% (driveway end)
North wall tested fine all green 10-15% (back of house)
East wall has readings from 19%-26% (other end)

So my east wall barely failed. I took my Delmhorst 2-prong wood moisture tester and probed the same holes he drilled & caulked and they read 12-15% which is consistent with my North & West walls.

Is my Delmhorst wood moisture tester going to work the same as his $600 high-tech 2-prong stucco testing meter?
