Stretch work pants for bigger guys

I’m a big guy and I’m looking for comfortable pants for work and working around the property. I have some roundhouse bibs but would like something with a waistband also. Maybe a stretch or elastic waistband cargo of some sort. Any suggestions?

I’m sure there are others out there but my favorite for the last ten years are Duluth trading “ Dry on the Fly pants “ There might be more than one version so read the fine print .

If you have never tried them you will think there thin and flimsy looking but I can tell you they wear like iron .

There cool in the summer and very comfortable. I have Nine pairs and use them for work . The waistband stretches and order the size you normally wear and they will be fine . I also enjoy the wide belt loops no Plummer's crack.

I wear DXL Harbor Bay pants, shorts and t-shirts. I can order pants and shorts with the waist and length I need to fit me. I have jeans, khaki work pants, several colors of shorts, and multiple t-shirts, both with and without pockets.

My go to are Costco stretch jeans, give you that little bit of 'room'

I've settled on Duluth Trading company "Fire Hose" for my work/around the house pants. Roomy cargo pockets, heavy duty, wide belt loops to hold my web belts.
They HAD made a "logging/heavy brush" pant that was ideals for walking through thick brambles and thorn trees, but that was discontinued apparently. I only got 2 pair
I do like the “ Dry on the Fly pants “ , I tend to wear them for doctor visits etc. (kind of like rural formal wear).
I liked their cargo shorts when they fit my lifestyle. They used to offer a size (14" inseam) that covered my knee, helped when I kneeled down on pavement, concrete etc. But that was discontinued.

I checked the label on the cargo pants I got from Wal-Mart, they're 2% Spandex. at one time I couldn't find any cargo pants there that didn't have some type of expansion material in them.

I’m 6’4 280lbs I recently just got a pair of Ariat jeans at TC I’ve tried a lot of others that just wear out prematurely.Ariat very comfortable seem good quality not cheap but others aren’t either my worst experience is Carhartt very poor quality.

Costco has a brand called “Weatherproof”. I like them so much, we are wearing them as uniform pants.
Unbeatable.

+1 on the Duluth Fire Hose cargo pants. I've been using them for years and so far, have found none better.
