Strange Ebay Auction

Was just browsing ebay looking for a used laptop and came across eBay: TOSHIBA MODEL 1805-S204 LAPTOP W/ACCESS LIKE NEW (item 140043707235 end time Oct-22-06 05:12:58 PDT) auction.
There's obviously something weird going on here, but I can't seem to understand
what exactly is going on with it. 7100$ for a 1ghz laptop? At first I thought it someone was shill bidding , then it seems they were just bidding for entertainment or joke? Can't see someone seriously bidding over $200 for it.

Well, erh, guys, if you really want a Toshiba laptop, I'd sell ya mine. It' very good, and heck, I'll part with it for a mere $7,000 and I pick up the shippping.
