About a year ago I was running my sickle bar mower. I needed to make a square turn so I backed in a tight arc with the bar about 6" off the ground and then BANG just as I remembered the stump that was there. The way the mower was swinging around there was plenty of speed and momentum when it hit. The force pushed in on my right lower link arm and bent it

Today I decided to try and straighten it. I have a 15,000 lb dozer and a 20 ton jack. My first try was to block the arm under the dozer blade as a fulcrum and jack against the dozer weight.

Didn't work. The front of the dozer was to light with a lot of weight still supported by the tracks. I just jacked the front end off the ground.

The back end is heavier and I picked the front end off the ground with the blade to maximize the weight in the rear. Then I blocked the arm under the draw bar mount.

Worked like a champ. Don't know why I waited so long ??

You just missed a perfect opportunity to convince SHMBO that you need a shop press.
