own one of those offshore Mitsubishi 2000's.
its been an OK tractor except the four foot tall, 40 pound exhaust system that has no other support but 3 ten mm studs on an cast iron manifold and my penchant for running the tractor under low hanging vegetation conspired to crack an ear off the exhaust manifold.
If I can ever finda manifold I will buy one but parts dont seem to be laying around for this kind of tractor.
so I JB welded what was left of the manifold with a short stub of straight pipe inside the manifold, helicoiled the exhaust mounting flange to SAE 7/16 size. cut the muffler off the original exhaust pipe and added straight pipe and put it back together.
she has held up fine.
I always wore ear protection when I operated it , now I really have a reason.LOL.
