I got this from an email conference:

A rancher had property on either side of a major road. A tunnel was put in
so he could take his sheep across the road without stopping traffic. The
first year they used the tunnel, his Pyr went across the road as usual. She
stood in the middle of the road while her sheep went underneath, stopping
an 18-wheeler. When the truck came to a halt, she walked up to it and bit a
tire.

Stay away from MY sheep.

Ya gotta love a dog with attitude:D

I have a couple Pyrenees. That sounds about right, taking on a 18 wheeler to protect the herd. Sounds like she is not going to let that tunnel phase her out of a job.

Here is a pic of Grace checking to make sure to goose pen is OK.

Sure wish Venus lived a little closer to Max. Max is getting a little old now and I could sure use one of his pups. People who aren't familiar with guardian dogs couldn't understand how he could be such a great guardian dog and yet so friendly and child proof.:)

That's gotta be in part because people confuse guardian dogs with vicous dogs, and don't realise that a well trained dog of any breed will protect the pack... and being a member of your family makes them more a part of the pack.

He is pretty!

The guardian dog reminds me what somebody told me; the sign on the fence should say Guardian Dog on Duty - kinda CYA strategy, because if you write Beware of the Dog, it could imply that you had knowledge of the dog being aggresive.

I like dogs, we own two, but I would not stop my big truck for one. It would move out of the way or get moved out of the way.
